Music Monsters

Music Monsters is the ultimate multimedia experience, taking user generated musical content and integrating it into a dynamic character and a world filled with possibilities.

Based on the idea that MIDI data (information on the frequency, duration, and amplitude of a note) can be applied to many other functions, Music Monsters explores the connection between the musical world of intervals, pitches, key, and scales and the physical world of size, strength, attack power, and ferocity, just to name a few.

As a scientist at IRAIL (Institute for Researching Aurally Intelligent Lifeforms), gamers train their very own Zyk, an alien creature with a fondness for music, and then release it into the wild. Adaptable for the most novice musician or the wizened professional, Music Monsters provides an opportunity for creativty, entertainment, and education, all in one.
